Preparing for the second job interview

Great, you’ve cleared the first hurdle and you’ve made an impression and now you’re about to shine in the second interview!

During this round, you will go deeper into the position and your role in it. You may encounter the same interlocutor, but also new faces such as a direct colleague or manager. Be prepared for questions that go in-depth and may even be a tad more challenging than those in the first interview.

But wait, there’s more! Sometimes there is an assessment or an assignment on the program. Don’t panic, this is just a way for them to check if your skills and traits match what they’re looking for. So, show what you’ve got and make that second round unforgettable!

Ask questions yourself

Forgot to ask something last time? Now is your chance. During a second interview, you can also ask questions again. Because it is often a job-related interview, you can focus your questions more on your work. What does an average day look like? How much time do you spend per task? Who should you turn to if you can’t figure something out? At least if you get the job, you won’t have to ask for those things anymore!
