Trainee Marketing and Communication

We think equestrian sports are the best sport in the world. That is why we do our best to share as much knowledge as possible about horses, ponies and equestrian sports. Because the Marketing, Communication & Sponsoring department could use some extra hands, there is room for a spontaneous, enthusiastic intern (m/f) who will help manage our websites, newsletters and social media, among other things.

Sounds great! What exactly will I be doing?

This is an internship and not a graduation assignment.

Of course we will do this in consultation, but you:

1. Publish news items, manage content pages, including on knhs.nl.
2. Provide social media posts on the KNHS channels.
3. Play a role in the KNHS webcare.
4. Fully participate in the team and support campaigns, projects and events.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a nice and enthusiastic person who really wants to come and help. A passion for horses is a bonus, but is not a requirement. Do you recognize yourself in these keywords?

1. You love marketing and social media.
2. You are good with language and can write well (if you use ‘me’ incorrectly, you have to get coffee for a week as punishment).
3. You are careful, check your own work and don’t rush anything.
4. If you notice that something could be different, better or more fun, then you just say so (we only think that’s nice).
5. You are doing a HBO education in the field of marketing and communication and are looking for a work placement.
6. You are looking for an internship for at least 4 months in the period from September 2025.
7. You are available 4 days a week for your internship at the KNHS.
8. You have your own facilities to work from home for your internship.
9. You have your own transport, because the KNHS office is not easily accessible by public transport.
